Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the operations and growth of your pūrvelo location. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the studio, managing staff, driving sales, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role requires strong leadership skills, business acumen, and a passion for the fitness industry. Studio Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of the studio’s operations, including scheduling, facility maintenance, equipment procurement, and inventory management. Ensure the studio is clean, organized, and functioning efficiently to provide an exceptional experience for customers and staff.

Staff Leadership and Development: Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of instructors, front desk staff, and support personnel. Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities to ensure a high-performing and motivated team.

Sales and Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive membership sales, class attendance, and revenue growth. Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns, community partnerships, and customer retention initiatives.

Financial Management: Monitor and analyze financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability. Develop and manage budgets, identify areas for cost optimization, and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.

Customer Experience and Satisfaction: Maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring exceptional customer service and a positive experience for all studio visitors. Implement feedback mechanisms, address customer concerns promptly, and foster a welcoming and inclusive studio environment.

Class Programming and Quality Assurance: Work closely with the fitness team to develop and enhance class offerings, ensuring a diverse and engaging schedule that meets the needs and preferences of the target market. Implement quality assurance measures to maintain consistent and high-quality fitness experiences.

Community Engagement: Represent the studio within the local community and establish relationships with key stakeholders, such as local businesses, fitness influencers, and community organizations. Identify opportunities for collaboration and outreach to increase brand awareness and drive customer acquisition.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and regulatory guidelines, including proper maintenance of equipment, emergency procedures, and staff certifications. Maintain a safe and secure environment for both customers and staff.

Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports and analytics on key performance indicators, such as membership growth, class attendance, sales conversion rates, and customer feedback. Use data-driven insights to identify trends, make informed decisions, and drive continuous improvement.


Bachelor’s degree in business, sports management, or a related field is preferred.

Proven experience in a management role within the fitness, wellness, or hospitality industry.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

Excellent business acumen and understanding of financial management principles.

Sales and marketing experience, with a track record of driving revenue growth.

Outstanding customer service skills and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Passion for fitness and a comprehensive understanding of the indoor cycling industry.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours as needed.

Time Commitment: 

            Full-time: approximately 30-40 hours per week

            Part-time: approximately 20-25 hours per week
