Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Intern to join the pūrvelo (insert studio location) team. As a Sales Intern, you will play a key role in driving sales and promoting our studio to potential customers. You will have the opportunity to learn about the fitness industry, gain hands-on experience in sales and customer service, and contribute to the growth of our business. This internship is a great opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in sales or the fitness industry.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Lead Generation: Actively engage with potential customers, both in-person and over the phone, to generate leads and convert them into studio memberships. Utilize effective sales techniques to promote the benefits of indoor cycling and pūrvelo’s unique offerings.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with inquiries, providing information about our studio, memberships, and classes, and addressing any concerns or issues they may have. Build positive relationships with customers to encourage long-term loyalty and retention.

Studio Promotion: Assist in the implementation of marketing and promotional strategies to increase studio visibility and attract new customers. This may involve distributing flyers, attending local events, leveraging social media platforms, and collaborating with the marketing team to create engaging content.

Studio Operations Support: Assist with various operational tasks, such as maintaining cleanliness and organization within the studio, setting up equipment for classes, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all customers.

Data Tracking and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and lead generation efforts. Provide regular reports to management, highlighting sales performance, customer feedback, and areas for improvement.

Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and new fitness products/services. Actively participate in training sessions and workshops provided by the studio to enhance sales skills and knowledge of our offerings. 

Requirements:

Passion for Fitness: A genuine interest in fitness, wellness, and the benefits of indoor cycling.

Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with potential customers effectively.

Customer-Focused Approach: A friendly and outgoing personality with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Sales Aptitude: Demonstrated interest in sales, marketing, or previous experience in a customer-facing role is a plus.

Team Player: Ability to work well within a team environment and collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals.

Organization and Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Professionalism: Present a polished and professional appearance, adhering to the studio’s dress code and representing the brand in a positive manner.

Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate the studio’s operating schedule and events.

 Time Commitment: approximately 8-16 hours per week.
